North Herts Community Lottery

Get ready to be in with a chance of winning £25,000 every week, and help local causes at the same time, by playing the North Herts Community Lottery. Tickets are on sale now and cost just £1 – with 50p going directly towards helping community causes support North Herts residents.

Players have a one in 50 chance of winning a prize, ranging from the £25,000 jackpot to £2,000, £250, £25 or three free lottery tickets. The lottery draw takes place every Saturday.

There are numerous local good causes to choose from, including charities, youth groups, sports clubs, heritage organisations and conservation groups. They sell tickets through their own lottery page within the main North Herts Community Lottery website

They will receive 50p in every pound spent by players using that page and a further 10p in every pound will go into a general good causes fund held by the council, with the remainder put towards prizes, operating costs and VAT.

Players who do not wish to support a specific cause can still take part in the lottery, by purchasing a ticket through the main North Herts Community Lottery website with 60p of their ticket price going into the council’s general good causes fund.

To buy tickets, or if you are a charity, local community group, voluntary sector or not-for-profit organisation benefitting residents of North Herts and want to register or find out more about being a lottery good cause, please visit www.northhertscommunitylottery.co.uk.
