Rental invoices
The entity or individual whose name appears first in the address bar on the invoice is the tenant of the property identified in the Description box of that invoice. North Hertfordshire District Council, known as North Herts Council, does not accept or recognise any entity or individual as the tenant of the property other than the entity or individual whose name appears first in the address bar.
If North Hertfordshire District Council accepts rent from an entity or individual other than the first named entity or individual, acceptance is in that party’s capacity as agent or representative for the tenant only. No relationship of landlord and tenant is created or inferred by North Hertfordshire District Council in accepting rent from that third party.
