Our popular splash pads are getting ready to reopen for the summer, so fingers crossed the weather improves! Get ready to get wet for fun at one of our four splash parks in North Herts – all will reopen on Saturday 29 April.
North Herts splash parks are located at:
- Baldock’s Avenue Park
- Hitchin’s Bancroft Recreation Ground
- Royston’s Priory Memorial Gardens
- Letchworth’s Howard Park – also has a paddling pool.
All splash parks will be open every day, from 10am to 6pm, until 15 September.
Sarah Kingsley, Place Service Director, said: “We’re excited to be coming into the splashpad season, we know they are popular throughout the district. They’ll be open the weekend of the May bank holiday in time for the King’s Coronation bank holiday, all the way through to mid-September.”
If you’re wondering when our outdoor pools will open:
- Letchworth Outdoor Pool – due to reopen 13 May until 24 September.
- Hitchin Swimming Centre – due to reopen 27 May until 10 September.
