Community Forums are an opportunity to meet Councillors, find out about groups and events in your area and raise an issue or topic for discussion.
The Forums (previously known as Area Forums) are an amalgamation of the retired Area Committees and Town Talks.
Anyone is welcome to attend. Doors open at 7.15pm, with refreshments on offer.
Community Forums may feature:
- grant presentations
- themed talks
- ward matters
- town centre updates
Sometimes the Community Forums have a specific theme, which are advertised near the time.
Councillors/presenters will address any questions raised as best they can at the time, or take items away to look into. Members of the public attending are invited to leave their contact details if they would like to stay informed.
